May Update: Find a Maker

I’ve recently joined Find a Maker, a directory of British craft makers founded by Sara James of Craft Festival.

In May, a new group of makers was added to the directory, joining over 450 of some of the finest craftspeople across Britain. After taking part in the first two Craft Festival events in Cardigan, I was really struck by how welcoming and supportive the community felt.

It brought together a group of like-minded makers who truly understood one another — people dedicated to their craft, committed to their practice, and passionate about what they create. There was a real sense of community and shared purpose, almost like an extended family, with everyone striving to do their best while becoming experts in their own field.

It’s an honour to now be part of this network, and I’m looking forward to taking part in future activities and events.
