Gwenllian Festival

It was an honour to be able to speak at the Gwenllian Festival in Bethesda in the company of award winning Rhiannon Gwyn and Anna Pritchard – two local artists. Rebecca Hardy interviwed the three of us about our work – the three of us with skills in different materials but surprisingly similar in our thinking and love for our habitat and upbringing in the valley we called home. As Ieuan Wyn noted in conversation, the three of us grew up in quite remote and rural parts of the area. The rolling landscape, agriculture, freedom and way of life have made a great impression on the three of us.
I then enjoyed hearing the authors talk very entertainingly about their work and experiences – Angharad Tomos, Manon Steffan Ross, Anes Glyn, and Alys Conran.
